Beechwood Road - Alexandria, VA
We expanded the space an additional 1,500sf to include a new master suite, kitchen, living room, dining room and powder room.
Granite counter top and specialty cabinets were installed in the gourmet kitchen. All new stainless steel appliances – including a six-burner Viking range, Bosch dishwasher, KitchenAid bottom freezer/refridgerator, Kohler sink basin with Grohe sprayer faucet.
The center hall section measuring 12'x30' was configured to include a master bath, powder room and hallway leading into the existing structure. The final section of the addition was a 7'x15' extension of the master bedroom.
Windsor Road - Alexandria, VA
The first level was extended with a 15' x 40' addition off of the rear of the house. This included a new gourmet kitchen with custom milled cabinets, and GE Monogram Professional appliances. A 3' extension was created at the front of the house, this required the extension of the foundation in the front wall of the main level. A new brick veneer was added to three sides of the house. New Anderson Narrow line windows where installed throughout along with a beautiful mahogany main entrance door by Simpson.
A second level was added to include a second master suite with a master bathroom and sunroom. It also included as well as two additional bedrooms and bathrooms. This work was performed with existing 1st level roof in place to accommodate owner. In addition, a detached two car garage and 40’x12’ sundeck were built. A front porch with a 2nd level walk out balcony put the final touch to the transformation of this home.
Lane Drive - Alexandria, VA
A 400sf family room on the first level includes hardwood floors, decorative stone veneer to chimney and hearth with a woodburing stove. A corresponding 400sf of partially finished walk out basement was created for workshop and storage space.
A small addition to the front of the house made for a new foyer and a portico that boasts of a custom milled barrel vaulted ceiling.
N. Wayne Street - Arlington, VA
The first level addition included a living room with masonry fireplace, powder room and closet. The second level comprised of a new master suite with master bath and laundry room. The basement level was also extended out.
Certainteed replacement windows were installed both in the existing and new sections of the home. Hardwood floors were installed throughout the addition to match the existing floors. To finish, a wrap-around portch, a new copper & slate tile roofing, hardi-plank siding & masonry veneer were installed.
N. Wayne Street - Arlington, VA
Initial work included removing the roof and adding a second level to the existing structure. The front entrance door and sidelights were replaced with a new raised panel solid mahogany unit. All of the mahogany trim and millwork for the front door feature was custom milled in our shop. The portico was reconstructed in detail to replicate the original. This project was completed in 1996.
A new kitchen and family room were added to the rear of the house as a subsequent project completed in 2006. Interior renovations included the creation of a new dining room, wet bar, butler's pantry and powder room. Also, a finished basement provided for a new recreation room and a separate laundry room. The exterior addition includes a new sun deck.
